We're looking for a Manager to join our Business Advisory team to help enable our clients to achieve their goals.


A bit about the role

You’ll be managing a portfolio of client relationships, tailoring our services to meet specific business goals.  Working with our private business owners, you’ll help them develop and execute their strategy for different stages of their business life-cycle. You’ll be helping enable them to achieve business and personal goals, whether it’s growth, expansion, succession, or exit.


Understanding how to grow our clients’ business means you’ll get involved a broad range of activities and be empowered to build and manage the client relationship.


Your passion for understanding your clients’ businesses will see you go beyond addressing technical issues to developing actionable growth recommendations. You’re a smart thinker, innovative and an exceptional relationship manager. You’ll be at the front-line of our business, brand and values.

You might currently be a Big 4 or mid-tier professional looking for a positive change, more autonomy and stronger focus on value-add projects. 


We’re looking for a superstar

Someone with experience but importantly, a willingness to learn:

  • At least five years in a similar role, with proven ability to establish, manage and grow positive professional relationships.

  • Experience working with New Zealand’s small to medium sized businesses, interacting and partnering with clients on strategy, process improvement and business matters

  • An understanding of management accounting and dashboard reporting for small to medium sized businesses

  • A desire to build longer standing community ties and a reputation within Taranaki

  • CA / CPA qualified would be helpful as would knowledge of cloud-based accounting software

  • Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to pitch, persuade and influence, and to simplify complex ideas.   

  • Sharp presentation skills: in person, in writing, and in workshop facilitation.

  • Exceptional organisational skills and a self-starting attitude to getting things done.

  • Exceptional client service.

  • The passion to contribute to a team doing exceptional, business-enhancing work.
